The (relatively small, considering the numbers of parties and the amazing line-ups) funds have greatly contributed to printing and mailing costs of datacide 10 and we have a few hundred euros in the war chest for datacide 11.
Despite this we still need more funds which we are unlikely to raise with the current series of parties at the Knochenbox (the venue is small and we pay for travel expenses).
What about other sources of funds? While sales of the magazine have been reasonably good, the trickle of money is very slow as a large number of magazines are distributed on a sale or return, or on a swap basis.
The donation button on this web site has barely been used so far – please consider making a donation if you find worth supporting what you read!
We are planning to release datacide 11 in the coming months and will organize another conference at some point this year. We urgently need funds to realize these projects, so if you’re in Berlin, come to the parties, if you read us online make a donation, order back and future issues or advertise in the paper edition (information on request)!
